Artist management agency Intermusica has announced that it has signed Vladyslav Buialskyi for worldwide general management. The 23-year-old Ukrainian bass-baritone will be managed by Julia Maynard.

From Berdyansk in Ukraine, Buialskyi’s career took off following success at the 2019 Moniuszko Competition and the 2020 Tenor Viñas Competition. He also won the inaugural Brian Dickie Young Talent Award at the 2019 Neue Stimmen Competition. An alumnus of the Young Singers Project at the Salzburg Festival, Buialskyi is currently a member of the Lindemann Young Artist Programme at New York’s Metropolitan Opera where he will perform in productions of Don Carlos and Eugene Onegin this season.

Recently the subject of a New York Times feature, Buialskyi talked about the ‘huge nightmare’ of the Russian invasion and his concerns for his family who remain in Ukraine to care for his grandmother. In 2022, he led the Metropolitan Opera Chorus and Orchestra in the Ukrainian national anthem as part for the Met's Concert for Ukraine, which has since been nominated for a Grammy.

With offices in London, Berlin, Munich and Vienna, Intermusica recently launched Amplify, a marketing and digital service designed to support the personal branding of its artists.
