Develop Your Creative Practice (Arts Council England)

What: Grants of between £2000 and £10,000

Available to: individual artists or creative practitioners looking expand their practice through research, having time to create new work, travel, training, developing ideas, networking or finding mentoring.

The current round of applications closes on 5 November. 

The next round (round 9) will open w/c 21 December.

Musicians’ Union

What: £1M fund for MU members with genuine and pressing hardship

Available to: Any current MU member who

  • Has been in continuous membership of the MU for the last 12 months or more
  • Is currently paying the full MU membership subscription rate
  • Is a UK resident
  • Is suffering genuine hardship from loss of work due to the coronavirus pandemic
  • Has not already successfully received a payment from the MU Coronavirus Hardship Fund

AIM Crisis Fund

What: Up to £1,000 for each 2-month period of lost work.

Available to: Eligible (members of the Association of Independent Music) self-employed individuals, contractors and freelancers
