Voting opens for Gramophone's Orchestra of the Year Award 2025

Gramophone has announced the shortlist for its 2025 Orchestra of the Year Award and is inviting the public to vote to decide the winner.

The award celebrates six ensembles who have produced exceptional recordings over the past year. This year's nominees are:

BBC Symphony Orchestra
Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra
Boston Symphony Orchestra
Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra
Hallé Orchestra
Le Concert des Nations

Voting closes at midnight (BST) on 18 August 2025. The winner will be announced on 15 October at the Gramophone Classical Music Awards, taking place at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
