Rennix will succeed Flynn Le Brocq to work for the Nottinghamshire festival

Sarah Rennix has been announced as Flynn Le Brocq’s successor in the role of General Manager for Southwell Music Festival. Le Brocq has recently joined London Mozart Players as Chief Executive.

Rennix studied music at Durham University and recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Arts and Cultural Settings at King’s College London. She is a singer, arts producer and education specialist.

Chair of Southwell Music Festival, Thomas du Plessis said: ‘Sarah's wealth of experience in arts administration, music and education will be invaluable to the festival in the next stage of its evolution. I cannot wait to introduce Sarah to the special community of supporters, friends, artists and donors that Southwell Music Festival enjoys so much and am already looking forward to our next week of fantastic music in August later this year.’

Rennix has managed the education programmes for both Britten Sinfonia and The Sixteen, where she coordinated the Genesis Sixteen young artist programme and set up the Sounds Sublime Festival. Sarah is also a trustee for SANSARA Choir and the SouthWestFest.

Southwell Music Festival takes place in August in the Nottinghamshire cathedral town of Southwell. The festival involves concerts and performances across the town, with Southwell Minster as the festival’s main venue, featuring acclaimed singers and musicians as well as local musicians.
