Curated by Nitin Sawhney CBE, the concert will feature performances from Future Talent’s anniversary Album ‘RISE’

UK music charity Future Talent will mark its 20th anniversary next week with a celebratory concert at London’s RoundHouse venue. RISE: Past, Present and Future Talent is curated by British composer, producer and musician Nitin Sawhney CBE and will feature performances from the charity’s anniversary album RISE, alongside special guests including Matilda Lloyd and VOCES8.

The concert will form part of the Three Sixty Festival taking place at the Roundhouse throughout April 2025 and will be presented in an in-the-round format by broadcaster Alexander Armstrong. All profits from the concert will go directly towards Future Talent’s work supporting ‘the thousands of children with exceptional musical abilities failed by society every year’.

Future Talent chief executive Clare Cook said: ‘RISE is a celebration of the boundless potential of exceptional young musicians whose talent and creativity will shape the future of music. At Future Talent, we are deeply committed to breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for these gifted individuals, and this concert marks an inspiring milestone in that journey. Together we’ll witness how tradition and technology unite to showcase the voices of past, present, and future talent, with an exciting twist. There’s no better place for this groundbreaking 20th birthday celebration than London’s iconic Roundhouse, where together, we’ll shine a spotlight on the artists of tomorrow.’

Founded in 2004 by The Duchess of Kent and Nicholas Robinson, Future Talent offers financial support alongside running its Junior Programme supporting young musicians starting out on their journey of musical development, a Development Programme supporting musicians aged 12-16, and a Senior Programme for 16-18-year-old musicians. The programmes are designed to help young musicians to gain the confidence, skills, and experience needed to realise their musical potential.

Concert tickets can be purchased via the RoundHouse website.
