Enote has developed artificial intelligence systems capable of reconstructing centuries of paper scores

Berlin-based company Enote is preparing to launch a new digital sheet music app at the end of this year.

Boian Videnoff, chief conductor of the Mannheim Philharmonic and one of Enote's founders: 'Sheet music was conceived on paper, and has never really made the leap into a digital world. By bringing scores into a native digital format, we unlock exciting new ways to work with sheet music and make quality material more accessible and affordable than ever.'

Enote's digital scores are flexible in their layout and style, giving musicians the opportunity to interact with them.

Musicians can:

- Change the music size and notation style of their scores

- Work with sheet music that fits any screen size or orientation perfectly

- Instantly transpose pieces into a different key

- Use annotation rules to automatically highlight individual parts across hundreds of pages

- Discover new repertoire with filtered search and extensive metadata for all works

- Look up full scores or supporting instrumental parts in a few taps

- Navigate directly to specific movements or bars

- Print scores on-the-go from their devices.

Videnoff continues: 'As a conductor, I know musicians simply cannot compromise on quality. That’s why our musicology and AI teams have analysed millions of published findings and scores – from first autograph to final print - to create a definitive, reliable digital edition of each work that is ready for professional use.'

The library will be updated with new works weekly.

New users will be added into the Beta program over the coming weeks. To register your interest in the Beta and learn more about the platform, visit:
