Grants of up to £5,000 are now available from the Trust for music performance and education projects.

The Oleg Prokofiev Trust, set up in 2016 in memory of Oleg Prokofiev, the son of the composer Sergei Prokofiev, is now welcoming applications for grants.
Grants ranging between £200 and £5,000 are distributed by the Trust each year with the aim of supporting music performance and education projects, especially those related to the work of Sergei Prokofiev. Applications for this year’s grants must be submitted by 15 November and successful applicants will be notified on 15 December. Applicants and those applying on behalf of the performers should be over 18.
Applications are welcomed from individuals and organisations for grants to support the costs of performances, recordings and events, particularly those relating to Sergei Prokofiev. Grants are also available to support the preparation, publishing and distribution of books, films, and instructional media, especially those exploring Sergei Prokofiev’s life and work. Applications for grants supporting the performance of lesser-known pieces are particularly welcome.
In addition to this year’s grants, this year the Oleg Prokofiev Trust will also launch the Rupert Prokofiev Award, an annual grant to fund music projects by artists living with disabilities, also open to projects that benefit people living with disabilities.
