Monteverdi Circle was conceived by violinist and conductor Pavel Berman. It offers opportunities for learning, collaboration and entertainment, as well as interactive courses, seminars, masterclasses, video guides and study materials.

Guests include cellist Steven Isserlis and violinist and conductor Salvatore Accardo. Professors include first cello of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Kristine Blaumane and former first viola of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Andriy Vyitovich.

The website includes a forum where people can exchange ideas and opinions, and also offers Q&As with both emerging and established artists, as well as streamed lessons, rehearsals and concerts.

Monteverdi Circle will also showcase up-and-coming talent and new music through videos, articles and debates.

Artistic director and co-founder Pavel Berman said: 'I’m very proud of not only the outstanding group of professors and guests that we’ve assembled at Monteverdi Circle, but also of the unique, high-quality educational content that we’ve worked so hard to create.

'I’m now hugely excited to welcome the most important ingredient - the musicians and music lovers of all backgrounds who will bring it to life. I look forward to sharing our knowledge, skills and experience and seeing who it can inspire and develop.'
